PROCESS
OVERVIEW
TLS Choice proposed the CUUBE™ to VES and suggested utilizing its DSA pre-check approved status to speed up construction. In addition, the CUUBE™ uses a combination of traditional and modular builds to create a cutting-edge sustainable structure that utilizes the latest research on the optimization of student productivity and achievement.
CONSTRUCTION
PRODUCTS AND SYSTEMS
CUUBE™ state-of-the-art technology allows the building to be a place of refuge during earthquakes and natural disasters due to its steel superstructure. Large clerestory windows increase airflow, ventilation and a sense of biophilia. Finishing touches included an outdoor shade structure, water bottle filling stations and a playground.
PROJECT RESULTS
The client was so excited to see their new building on campus. Students and teachers love the building's accessibility to the outdoor learning spaces. They especially enjoyed KYA’s smooth and quick turn-key process. In addition, KYA’s proactive communication and periodic updates gave peace of mind.
