HVAC UPGRADE - COACHELLA VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

The District was given the opportunity to upgrade their HVAC units through a grant program funded by a local energy company.

This opportunity allowed for the replacement of twenty-one units across the K-12 school site. The site includes Desert Mirage High School, Toro Canyon Middle School and Las Palmitas Elementary School.

Due to this unique opportunity, the job needed to be sourced, procured and installed within the brief time frame provided. With the assistance of KYA’s purchasing contracts and vetted partners, Coachella Valley was able to expedite the entire process from beginning to end. Our team focused on identifying the major areas of concern within the five different buildings which when combined, house over 4,000 students. Each concern was addressed and corrected. Overall, the job was completed in five days.
