MAPLE FLOORING - AMERICAN RIVER COLLEGE

OUTDATED & OVERDUE

American River College had a gym that was well overdue for a face lift. The existing maple wood floor was riddled with squeaky dead spots. It also had outdated branding and logos. In addition, the court lines no longer met regulation requirements.

KYA was able to facilitate the speed of procurement utilizing the FCCC Purchasing Cooperative. As a result, the install was able to be completed from start to finish over summer. KYA repaired the substrate to alleviate the squeaking dead spots and restored the playability of the court.

The client was able to customize their branding and colors on the court to add a special touch for their students. They chose an updated mascot icon and a unique faded border. Every coach was involved throughout the process contributing to the overall look, instilling school and sports pride into the design. American River College loved the improved playing surface and final aesthetic of the new paint and game lines.
