PROJECTS

TIPPIT MS: TENNIS COURT RESURFACING

KYA partnered with a local expert to revitalize the eight tennis courts at Tippit Middle School, delivering a durable high-quality finish. The project included thorough crack-sealing to ensure a stable foundation followed by two layers of primer and a full blackout coating for a uniform base. Vibrant colored acrylic surfacing was then applied, enhancing durability and aesthetics. Base colors, specialized court colors and precision tennis court lines were added to meet regulation standards.

DISTRICT BUILDING: PAINTING

Collaborating closely with the district, KYA facilitated a highly customized design process, ensuring the artwork aligned with the district’s vision and values. KYA drew on its extensive network of partners to identify and commission a skilled local artist capable of delivering murals that adhered to both diverse stylistic themes and industrial painting standards. This ensured that the murals would not only be visually impactful but also durable and able to withstand the test of time.

EAST VIEW HS: BASEBALL FIELD

The first project of the partnership began when KYA presented a promising synthetic turf system to the district. This innovative system mimicking the characteristics of natural grass and clay to enhance player safety and performance. By using alternative natural infill, it also helps keep the turf surface 20-30 degrees cooler than traditional crumb rubber. The district fully supported the proposal, recognizing the benefits of this advanced turf system.
