Grand Opening of Monson Sultana Union Elementary School’s New CUUBE™ Gymnasium, Library and Community Resource Center

Monson, CA, October 2, 2024 – The public was invited to celebrate the grand opening of Monson Sultana Union Elementary School’s new CUUBE™ gymnasium and modular library & community resource center. The event took place on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 5:30 PM at the school, located at 10643 Ave 416, Sultana, CA 93666.

The project partners, KYA Services, JTS Modular, PBK and BDM Inc., warmly welcomed local officials, school district leaders, media representatives and community members to join us for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception, where attendees had the opportunity to tour the new CUUBE™ gymnasium, along with a modular library and community resource center. 

The new buildings are the first in over 50 years - with the gym being the first in 100 years at the district. The new 10,000-square-foot gym and two modular buildings incorporate HVAC air conditioning, jumbo fans and sustainable technologies to create an optimal environment for year-round events, indoor sports, and educational services, all designed with enhanced daylighting, temperature control, ventilation and acoustics. The new library allows for classroom expansions and new learning spaces for the students at the school. The first-of-its-kind community resource center will help bridge the gap between the community and school to help achieve maximum student success.
